Protea Hotel By Marriott Cape Town Tyger Valley, Bellville

The hotel offers beautiful, clean, and comfortable rooms but lacks child-friendly features. The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. Its superb location near main routes and the airport is fantastic, but not as close to Tyger Valley as advertised. The dining experience, although pricey, provided limited options. Overall, a good choice for a stay, especially for its service and location.

The hotel has spacious rooms with some stairs to access, fitted with a bar fridge; however, check-in was delayed past the indicated time. The service was mixed, with well-trained staff but lacking expected courtesy and resolving issues. Good central location for Bellville and Durbanville but not easily walkable to other amenities. Dining options were limited for specific diets. Overall good for getting into Cape Town and Paarl but a bit pricey.
